Delete Your Account

This page explains how to request deletion of your Renew Health app account and the personal data associated with it. Renew Health, Inc. is the developer of the Renew Health app.

How to request account deletion

Account deletion is handled by our care team. To request it, follow these steps:

1. Send an email to care@renewhealth.us from the email address associated with your Renew Health account.
2. Use the subject line “Delete my account”.
3. Include your full name and date of birth so we can verify your identity and locate your account.
4. We will confirm your request and complete the deletion of your app account and associated data within 30 days, then email you to confirm it is done.

Sending the request from the email on your account lets us verify you. If you no longer have access to that email, contact us at care@renewhealth.us and we will help you verify your identity another way.

What data is deleted

When your request is processed, we permanently delete the following, with no additional retention period:

• Your app account and sign-in credentials
• Your app profile, settings, and preferences
• App usage and device information associated with your account (for example, device identifiers and analytics data)

What data is kept, and for how long

Renew Health is a healthcare provider. Any medical records created as part of your care are not deleted on request. This includes information such as lab results, imaging and CIMT scans, clinical notes, prescriptions, and billing records. We are legally required to retain these records for a minimum retention period (generally at least 10 years from your last treatment) under applicable state and federal law, after which they are securely destroyed.
